For any artist wishing to capture the likeness and spirit in a portrait and render it in a fresh and unlabored way, this is an invaluable class. Eugene will demonstrate how to use every stage of the process to enhance the final portrait. Students will be making a plaster mold that will offer the opportunity to refine and enhance. From this mold, several options are possible, including a ceramic clay cast to be fired or a plaster cast. Daub will also demonstrate the process of adding names or wording to the relief.
