In this workshop, Joseph will guide students through his process of developing an idea through to painting completion. Joseph will show students how he explores ideas for the development of a narrative work, with an emphasis on telling a story. Students will then learn Joseph’s technical process through daily demonstration, teaching the importance of
drawing, value, color harmony and design. Students will learn how to work from the use of photography in the studio setting and will be encouraged to complete one to two paintings during the week. Individual attention will be given by Joseph to guide each student through his/her process with a class critique at the end of the week. www.josephlorussofineart.com
