Our sky is an ocean of transmitted light reflections many miles deep wrapping everything in color. Learning to see that atmospheric effect on the landscape and mixing techniques that create luminous colors are what this workshop is focused on. Using relative vs. absolute color, Doug winds through the myriad of knowledge needed for artists to develop their skills for painting beautiful and believable space. Perceiving the color and mixing techniques are the “one-two punch” on your way to mastery.
