Music, Food & Culture: High School Workshop

Come and be inspired by food, fun and culture! Great gardens and cuisine, music and dance, lands and people find realistic and creative expression as we build artistic skills in a variety of mediums.

Enhance your studio practices such as proportion, technique, and color theory in this skill-building class. Themes explore landscapes, seascapes and all these ecompass. This class will include demos, individual attention and critiques. Each session incorporates 2D Art mediums such as drawing, painting, watercolor, mixed media, as well as 3D Art mediums such as relief, additive, found objects, and hand building with clay. Summer Fine Art Camps are held in professional art studios and taught by professional teaching artists. Students will learn how to prepare their art for show and will share their creations in a Youth Art Show at the end of the session (3:00 Friday)
