With Soft Pastel sticks and sanded papers you will paint images of colorful pottery. Focus in on the slick shinny surface as it turns away from the light. Blend, glaze, and layer to produce. transparencies and dramatic effects. Subject matter includes colorful fresh produce, abstract selfies, giant flowers and impressionistic landscapes.Increase the ‘sizzle’ and richness of your colors. Printed references will be furnished. Students work at their own pace. Expect weekly demonstrations and friendly class participation.
