During the pandemic, artist Andrew Denman paid the bills by selling quick, mixed media studies of birds and animals on social media. These intimate and improvisational pieces proved wildly popular, and are among his favorites. Denman has been asked many times to offer a workshop in this technique. Well, here it is! Using a combination of graphite, watercolor, acrylic, and colored pencils (and whatever else you’d like to bring) you too can learn this fun technique.
