Notan is the framework for the structure of VALUES. Notan will help us find and arrange shapes and patterns in creating dynamic and harmonious compositions. Let’s play, explore and balance Light, Dark and Mid-tones. We’ll use high contrast photo references that I will provide, or you can bring your own. Black, white and gray acrylic paint will be provided, along with disposable pallets, water containers and some panels. The acrylic Notan painting will be used as a reference only.
