Painting portraits can be intimidating to say the least, but Kim will facilitate letting go of that fear! In this class the student will need drawing skills to get good contour drawings for the paintings. Students will dissect the face and put it back together, and from there learn how to cross those lines to get good connecting shapes within the subject and background. Together the class will concentrate on composition, the use of color, lights and darks, and where to use soft and hard edges. Participants will gain confidence, learn to be more analytical of paintings, and upgrade their abilities. www.kj-art.com
