Drawing from Life: Juliette Aristides I Workshop I Drawing
The nude is the most enduring subject in art. When we draw the human form, we reflect on ourselves. In this workshop students will learn how beautiful figure drawings are created. Over the course of several days, students will work with both short and long poses: diving into gesture, proportion, and form. Studio sessions will start with a daily demonstration and discussion before drawing from the model. Aristides will alternate critiques and ongoing drawings so that students can see how finished drawings from the model develop. The most engaging drawings combine technique and expression. Students will have the opportunity to develop both aspects of drawing throughout the workshop as we explore the beauty of the human form. www.aristidesarts.com
