Join nationally acclaimed artist, Grace DeVito, for this four-day oil painting workshop and learn her process of multi-layered still life painting by lecture, demonstration, and critiques. Focus will be given to technique, paint application and creating form. Individual instruction will be given throughout the workshop and will be tailored to the painters' needs whether beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Curated still lifes will be set up to work from or students can bring their own favorite organic elements to create a beautiful painting. Lectures and demos will take place in the morning. In the afternoon students will paint as Grace gives individual critiques. Day 1 will cover the gesture and drawing of shapes and block in. Day 2 will be painting the first layer.
