While setting up a still life with fresh flowers every day, Kathy will talk about composing a garden painting from start to finish. She will bring in photo references to show examples of some large paintings and take you through all the issues you face, painting from life as things change and how she solves each step. There will be a demo each morning, emphasizing value and the importance of good drawing, and the students will paint in the afternoon with one-on-one instruction. www.kathyandersonstudio.com
