David Cheifetz

Biography

David Andrew Nishita Cheifetz is an internationally acclaimed and collected artist. A former architect turned oil painter, David has combined classical training and an eye for precision with a pursuit of experimentation that has resulted in a body of work spanning the worlds of contemporary realism, imaginative realism, and abstraction. Since becoming a full time artist in 2009, David’s work has been featured in national and international publications, six solo exhibitions, many group exhibitions, and has been displayed in New York City’s Times Square. He is also known for the high quality of his workshops and seminars that he has been teaching 2012-present. He is currently represented by Gallery 1261 in Denver, CO. David lives with his family in Olympia, Washington.
