REGISTRATION POLICY
Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students will receive confirmation within two (2) weeks of registration.
Early registration is encouraged as workshops and classes fill quickly.
Classes or workshops with insufficient enrollment may be canceled 30 days before the start date (workshops) or
7 days before the start date (local/online programs).
Full refunds will be issued if the School cancels a program.
Register by phone or online using a credit card.
Returned Check Fee: A $35 fee applies to returned checks.
Gift Cards & Discounts: Must be redeemed by phone only.
FEES & PAYMENT POLICY
Workshops
$15 non-refundable registration fee + $200 deposit due at registration.
Final balance due 45 days before the start date; automatic charge unless otherwise arranged.
Registration fee applies once per fiscal year, regardless of class count.
Local & Online Classes
$15 non-refundable registration fee + full tuition due at registration for weekly and one day classes.
$15 non-refundable registration fee + $200 deposit or full tuition due at registration.

CANCELLATION, TRANSFER & REFUND POLICY
General Policies
All cancellations must be in writing (email or mail). Phone cancellations are not accepted.

No refunds for no-shows or withdrawals after the program begins.
SAS recommends refundable airfare and accommodations.
Workshop Cancellations
Cancel more than 45 days before: $100 retained as a cancellation fee, $100 kept as account credit,
and any remaining tuition can be refunded or applied as school credit.
Cancel 45 days or less: Entire tuition forfeited.
Local & Online Program Cancellations
Cancel more than 7 days before: Refund minus $30 cancellation fee.
Cancel 7 days or less: Entire tuition forfeited.
Youth Academy Cancellations
Cancel more than 7 days before: Refund minus $50 cancellation fee.
Cancel 7 days or less: Entire tuition forfeited.
TRANSFER POLICY
Workshops: Transfers allowed 45+ days before the start date; $50 transfer fee.
Local & Online Programs: Transfers allowed 7+ days before the start date; $15 transfer fee.
Youth Academy: Transfers allowed 7+ days before the start date; $10 transfer fee.

WAITLIST POLICY
Students may join a waitlist at no cost.
Openings are filled in order of waitlist registration.
Once contacted, students must pay registration fees and tuition to secure a spot.

OPEN STUDIO POLICY
No refunds, credits, or transfers for missed Open Studio sessions.
Sessions with low enrollment may be canceled
with 1-day notice; refunds or credits will be offered.
FRAGRANCE-FREE FACILITY POLICY (Effective October 2024)
Scottsdale Artists' School is a fragrance-free facility to protect the health of students and staff.
No scented personal care products (perfume, aftershave, lotions, etc.).
Only odorless solvents/mediums are permitted.
Spray fixative may only be used outdoors, at least 10 feet from entrances.
Fragrance-free cleaning products must be used in studios and offices.

The School may modify or withdraw courses, change instructors, or alter the schedule as necessary.
The School reserves the right to require student withdrawal if conduct is deemed inappropriate.
Students booking airfare should purchase refundable tickets.
PUBLICITY WAIVER
Unless otherwise informed, the School may use photographs of students and their artwork
in promotional materials, including print and web publications.
