Scottsdale Artists’ School will showcase the very best art created by its students in its annual The Best and Brightest Juried Fine Art Show and Sale February 18, 2010.
Eligibility
• All Scottsdale Artists’ School non-faculty alumni enrolled in a minimum of one class or workshop from 2006 school year through December 1, 2009 are encouraged to enter.
• All works must be original subject matter, executed independently, outside of a class or workshop and must have been completed within the past three years in the following mediums: Oil Painting, Sculpture, Water Media or Drawing/Pastels.
This high-profile public exhibition is an excellent way to strengthen your artist’s resume and possibly even sell your artwork.
Conditions
• Artists may submit up to two different artworks. Entry fee for one artwork is $25, for two, it’s $35.
• All works must be available and priced for sale.
• Work must be framed and ready to hang.
• Artists may not substitute or alter the work once accepted. Nor may the selling price be changed.
Size Limits
• For two-dimensional work, maximum dimensions are 18" x 24" unframed. For sculpture, it should be no larger than 24” high or wide.

• Digital image(s) on disc or sent via email
• Completed entry form
• $25 non-refundable entry fee for 1 entry, $35 for 2 entries
Prizes
• Purchase Award- SAS purchases one piece of artwork chosen by the Board of Trustees + Ribbon
• Best of Show- $750 Gift Certificate to Scottsdale Artists’ School + Ribbon
• Gold in each (Oil Painting, Sculpture, Water Media, Drawing/Pastels)- $500 Gift Certificate to SAS + Ribbon
• Silver in each (Oil Painting, Sculpture, Water Media, Drawing/Pastels)- $100 Gift Certificate to SAS + Ribbon
• People’s Choice Awards:
- $300 Gift Certificate to Utrecht Art Supply Store + Ribbon
- $300 Gift Certificate to Mountain View Frames for a custom frame + Ribbon
• Honorable Mention Awards- Ribbon
