Scottsdale Artists' School National Art Competition Closes Friday
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – (March 18, 2009) The Scottsdale Artists' School’s call for entries for its Spark! Igniting the Power of Art contest deadline is this Friday. The art competition challenges artists to celebrate environmentally friendly energy resources through their respective mediums.
“The School initiated this contest because we believe visual artists have the power to create an impact on the global efforts to conserve energy, focus on renewable resources and promote a clean environment through the universal language of art,” stated Robin McClea, CEO of Scottsdale Artists’ School.
The competition is open to all artists, 18 years and older. Entries must be received no later than this Friday, March 20, 2009 and a $5,000 cash prize will be awarded to the winner.
