SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (October 8, 2008) – The Scottsdale Artists’ School will kick-off its 24th Annual Best and Brightest Juried Fine Art Show and Sale with a public reception on October 16 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Featuring paintings, drawings and sculpture from professional as well as undiscovered artists, the annual juried show will run from October 16 through November 18 and is considered a must-attend by local collectors and enthusiasts.

Now in its 24th year, the show will feature nearly 100 works for sale from students who have taken classes at the School during the past three years. Juried categories include oil painting, watercolor, pastel, drawing, and sculpture. Prices for original works will range from $200 to $5,000. During the public reception on October 16, guests will have the ability to meet with students and aspiring artists, faculty, benefactors and have the chance to win $500 in art class and workshop credit to the School.
