03/19/08: YOUTH ACADEMY SUMMER CAMPS START JUNE 2, 2008
Kids ages 6-8, 9-14, and High School students experience new and imaginative ways of expressing creativity through the wonderful world of art under the guidance of professional artists during summer break at the Youth Academy of Scottsdale Artists’ School.

Summer Camps start June 2 from 9am to 3pm. “These workshops provide creative opportunities in a stimulating environment where children and teens explore their imaginations and express their unique self through the visual arts”, says Carrie Curran, director of Youth Academy. Children will learn drawing, painting, mixed media and sculpture in the working studios of Scottsdale Artists’ School, located in historic LaLoma School in the heart of the city’s arts district.
