Ken DeWaard
Ken DeWaard Ken DeWaard studied at the American Academy of Art with Irving Shapiro and the Palette and Chisel Academy of Fine Art. He also studied privately with Scott Burdick and Dan Gerhartz. His influences include Joaquin Sorolla, John Singer Sargent, Nicolai Fechin, and the Russian Impressionists. DeWaard’s work has won numerous prizes, including the top award at the Barns and farms National Show in 2005. He exhibits regularly with Oil Painters of America and numerous other groups. DeWaard’s work may be viewed at galleries around the United States, including Zoeller Gallery, Santa Fe, NM; Sage Moon Gallery, Charlottesville, VA; Barnsite Art Gallery, Kewaunee, WI; and Hildt Galleries, Chicago, IL.
