William Scott Jennings is a Master Signature member of the Oil Painters of America and a Signature member of the Laguna Plein-Air Painters Association and the Rocky Mountain Plein-Air Painters. His awards include the Award of Excellence for Master Signature members in the 2005 Oil Painters of America National Show and the Gold Medal and Grand Prize in the 1998 Arts for the Parks Show. Jennings' paintings were used as the show posters for The Telluride Plein Air Festival 2004 and the Sedona Plein Air Festival 2005. His work has been used on the covers of two books as well as covers for American Artist Magazine, International Artist Magazine, The Artist's Magazine and America West Magazine. He has participated in many invitational exhibitions including the “From Sea to Shining Sea” touring museum exhibition and “Quest for the West” at the Eiteljorg Museum, Indianapolis, IN.
