Betty Carr earned her MFA from San Jose State University. She has an energetic style and enthusiasm that is apparent throughout her distinguished career as a painter, sculptor, and teacher. Carr is the author of Seeing the Light: An Artist's Guide, and her work has been featured in Design & Composition, Painter's Quick Reference: Flowers, and Splash 5. Her work has also appeared in Southwest Art, Art of the West, American Artist and Art Talk. Carr is a Signature Member of the Knickerbocker Society of Artists and has received numerous juried awards. Her paintings can be seen in Willow Gallery, Scottsdale, AZ and Mountain Trails Gallery in Sedona, AZ
