    a beautiful painting Janie….. done in one..maybe two days… you were on your game. I stood next to you when you did it.
    Trust your instants Janie! You need not spend too much time one any one canvas. This proves to me that you tend to “over think” your work….. when painting an animal for someone else. TRUST yourself…. confidence!!!!
    You have what it takes.

  3. This painting is so fresh and alive. For me, its totally about the sudden connection with the deer (not the grass and all of the background). I would consider it finished as is rather than going on to paint every blade of grass.

  4. I rarely write anything on this type of format but your painting is so striking I just had to write something.
