Description: Charcoal wash drawing is a way to create more drama and fun to your art experience. Adding charcoal wash to your artistic tool box will enable you to draw while experiencing the sensation of painting at the same time. Charcoal wash is simply powdered charcoal mixed with water and applied with a brush. It is a fast way to lay in broad dark patterns instantly while not sacrificing the beauty of expressive line-work. The student will work from both live models and photographs during the three hour sessions. The instructor will demonstrate the technique each week giving the student fresh impressions and reinforcement. You will be given individual assistance during each session.
