Mary Hirsch has lived in Arizona since 2004. She is a graduate of Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. She has also studied at Arizona State University, the Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, and the Civilization Course for Foreigners at the Sorbonne in Paris. She previously worked for Purdue University and most recently was curator of the Shemer Art Center and Museum in Phoenix. As Education Director, Mary is always happy to advise students, explain scholarship procedures, and answer questions about all of Scottsdale Artists' School's adult education programs.
Kathy Duley

Kathy Duley was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Virginia, graduating from Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia with a BA in American Studies. After spending 10 years in Aspen, Colorado, learning the retail business and becoming a decent skier, she relocated to Scottsdale in 1984. In 1988 she joined the docent program at the Phoenix Art Museum, rekindling a life-long love of art. She became an art consultant with Suzanne Brown Galleries in 1989and worked in a number of galleries in the Scottsdale Arts District, opening Duley-Jones Gallery with partner Randy Jones in 2001. Outside of art her passion is being outdoors hiking, biking and skiing. Kathy is the Marketing Director for Scottsdale Artists' School.

Wanda Stillions , Business Manager at Scottsdale Artists' School since May 2005, has a BA in Art Education from Northern Arizona University. For the past 25 years she has been working in the publishing industry, doing ad design, magazine layout and copy editing. For the past 10 years she has been working in the financial field for a local publishing company. Her love of art began with her grandmother who was an accomplished painter. Wanda's responsibilities at the School include working with the executive director and the board to insure the accurate and smooth flow of the financial business of the school.

Registrar for Scottsdale Artists' School, has a BA in Management from University of Phoenix. She has been working as a software engineer and system administrator for the past 15 years in various locations in the US and Europe. Prior to joining the School in August, she was employed by Analysts International, contracting through them to the Chevron-Texaco Richmond Refinery, and before that worked for Honeywell Industrial Automation and Controls. Her registration experience dates back to her early days as secretary-treasurer at a non-profit preschool in the valley. Her hobbies are snow skiing, photography, computers and doting on her grandchildren. At the School she is responsible for registering students and working with the executive director to build enrollment.

Mimi Wasneski traded the New Jersey snow, leaf raking and muggy summers to enjoy the blue skies and sun as a Scottsdale resident. Prior to joining Scottsdale Artists' School , Mimi worked for 23 years as an administrative assistant at ITT New York. At the School, Mimi is responsible for Front Desk Reception, customer service and retail sales. Mimi believes that artists, like Michelangelo, are man's direct link to our Creator.

Sheila Jordan grew up on one of the Great Lakes in Michigan, and moved to Arizona by way of California. In 2000, Sheila joined Scottsdale Artists’ School and has been working at the front desk on nights and weekends.

Vicki Goodman is the Model Coordinator for Scottsdale Artists' School. Her responsibilities include working with the Education Director to coordinate models with the instructors. Vicki has a BFA in Studio Art, with an emphasis on Fiber Arts, from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has been a life model for nine years, including fine art showings and private professional artists, and for the past five years spent as a model at Scottsdale Artists' School. She participates in various dance art performances throughout Arizona, and one of her various talents includes playing the didgeridoo.

Carrie Curran is the Youth Academy Coordinator, instructor and works part time in community relations. Carrie is also an artist who began her journey oil painting in 1993 by taking several workshops annually at the Scottsdale Artist's School. She has enjoyed studying with John Assaro, Matt Smith, Mark Daily, Quong Ho, Jane Wingfield and many more. Originally from Indiana, Carrie learned to love art and the smell of paint observing her Mother's studio art classes in their home while growing up. She received a Bachelors degree in marketing from Valparaiso University and moved to Arizona in 1983. Carrie has volunteered as a Docent at the Phoenix Art Museum since 1988 and has instructed children in fine art for over ten years.

Robert “Robby" Conover has lived in the Scottsdale area for over twenty years. He’s lived all over the West including Montana, Utah, and California. As Operations Manager, Robby takes care of everybody and everything from the studio arrangements to helping instructors, staff and students make the classes run as smoothly as possible. A “renaissance man", he is also a local realtor and licensed massage therapist (if you ever need the need the art “kinks" worked out of your neck and back. A special note about Robby, as a twenty year veteran of Scottsdale Artists’ School, he has seen it change from a small local art space into a thriving internationally acclaimed art school.
